FKM Fluoroelastomers Material

Fluoroelastomer products provide excellent high temperature and aggressive fluids resistance for sealing and fluid transport applications in automotive, oil and gas, chemical processing, small engine, and other harsh sealing environments.

Fluorocarbon elastomers are highly fluorinated carbon-based polymers used in applications to resist harsh chemical and ozone attack. The working temperature range is considered to be -26°C to +205°/230°C (-15°F to +400°/440°F). For short working periods it will take even higher temperatures.

The V-Seal is an all-rubber seal that mounts directly on the shaft and seals axially against counterface, housing, seal case or similar surface. The long flexible lip is designed to act like a mechanical face seal. It can retain lubricants and exclude contaminants. V-Seal can be used as a primary seal or as a secondary back-up seal.

It performs well in dry applications and is capable of handing a greater amount of eccentricity and misalignment than most radial lip type seals.
