Featuring main and downcast beams and certified safe in hazardous environments, the black Pelican 2785 Headlamp is a versatile, hands-free light for professional or personal use. The main beam provides bright, general illumination, while the downcast beam is optimized for pathways and reading, as well as face-to-face use. Select either beam or both with the rotary side switch, and select low, medium, or high with the pushbutton in the rotary's center. The maximum output is 215 lumens on the main beam, 196 on the downcast and 191 on both, with the medium settings about half of the maximum and the low settings about 10%. The head pivots 60° so you can place the beam where you need it.

Power comes from four AA alkaline batteries mounted in a power back at the back of the user's head, with a rear-mounted red LED for safety. The headlamp carries Class I, Division 1 / Groups A, B, C, & D and IECEx ia safety certifications.
