MF-2525N Non-Adhesive Hook & Loop Fastener - Black or White
"Hook and loop" refers to a fastening system commonly used in various applications, with one of the most well-known examples being Velcro. This system consists of two components: hooks and loops.
The "hook" component is made up of tiny, stiff, and typically rough structures. These hooks are often made of materials like plastic or metal. The hooks are designed to latch onto and interlock with the softer component, called the loops.
The "loop" component consists of softer and more pliable fibers that form loops when the material is woven or knitted. These loops are intended to be caught and engaged by the hooks, creating a secure bond between the 2 items.
Hook and loop fasteners are commonly used in clothing items, such as shoes, jackets, and bags, for closures and adjustments. The main advantages is the ability to fasten and unfasten repeatedly.
In summary, "hook and loop" is a versatile and widely used fastening system that relies on the interlocking of hooks and loops to create a secure and adjustable bond. Its ease of use and reusability make it a popular choice in various industries and everyday applications.
The MF-2525 is a pair of hooks and loops (1set), 25mm wide and 25m in length and comes in 2 separate rolls. They are either black or white colour. The hooks and loops strip are backed with self-adhesive on the other surfaces so that they can stick to the other surfaces of the item that need this temporary bonding. The strip can also be hand sewn onto fabric for extra bond if applied to fabric material. It is easy to use and deploy.
